This is not true… a lot of people are themselves and function good but they are still unhappy… happiness is when you are happy of small things like waking up to the beautiful bird song… seeing happy people… eating tasty food which you made by yourself… having meaningful conversation with a friend or loved one…

A silent day…

Being illness free, I didn’t know I was happy until I lost it. I might be happy in the future but never the way I was

True happiness for me is a good day spent with my family where I’m not a hot mess.

I believe happiness is in large part finding your purpose, making something of yourself and doing something great for mankind. Although in my opinion a permanent sense of real happiness is very rare and happens as a result of kundalini evolution.

I agree with you, @anon62371846. Simple and to the point.

Being aware of the good things in your life. Getting into the simple pleasures. When I was at the residential care facility we used to go out to a dairy queen every Saturday night and get a shake. It was a comforting ritual everyone liked. I also like the scenery in a lot of places around where I live. Eastern Oklahoma isn’t known for its scenery, but I like it. Watching a good documentary on YouTube or on the TV is always a great pleasure to me. Watching a good movie is rewarding. If you learn to appreciate the small things it is easier to be happy.

Happiness is what we all pursue. There is short term and long term happiness. I am happy when I accomplish something like lost weight so I keep trying to “improve” my life. I also am happier when I’m occupied rather than doing nothing all day. Then if I’m not able to reach my goals, I settle for small happy things like music, an excursion, a chat online, a drink, a hot shower. Sometimes you have to settle for what you can get.

Mine would be to have inner peace and see my loved ones happy.

money, neden, roof over head and 3 square meals a day
