What do you think of creatine and bcaas in sport ? Are these good to take muscle masse and improve resistance in sport ?
Who here that take them and what IS your expérience ?
My cardiologist allows me to use creatine as I can do more before getting fatigued when strength training.
i have alot of creatine but idk if it does much. i used to take it sometimes before lifting but i only have dumbbells so its not like im doing intense training. ppl on bodybuilding forums used to act like it was extreme performance booster like roids lol but imo not even close sometimes i take it out of boredom for the supposed brain and body benefits even when just chilling
I know someone with chronic kidney disease and they do all they can to keep their creatine levels low.
It’s used for building muscle, but I thought about taking it as a nootropic. One alleged study said it can increase IQ by 10 points, but that’s so much bs. I believed it. I have always tried to squeese more IQ points out of my brain lol to compensate.
lol i just took creatine after not taking for months then read my recent blood lab results and some of the high or low things can be related to kidney issues. now im anxious that im damaging myself, idk i still dont understand the results i will prob not take it again tho as i will see what my doc says the results mean
It can, but only for vegans because they are deficient in creatine.

Back in the day I made creatine drinks when playing football ( soccer ) and studying sports science. It had no noticeable side effects.
Personally I think it’s always best to get it from food naturally. That being said they do work and work well. Are they healthy as getting it from meat? No.
Might take a few days off your life is all I’m saying but you may have better performance with them.
Be careful if you have heart problems. They almost killed me more than once. They make you super dehydrated and caused me severe heart pain.
You are actually allowed to use creatine even if you have heart failure, but you have to not overdo it and no more than a couple weeks on and a couple weeks off with no more than using it every second day. Got cardiologist approval to use it.
