For me it’s where you’re worried about the welfare of the other person and they’re worried about your welfare.
The ability to be honest is important, too.

Where you aren’t afraid to communicate and do so openly. When you are there to support each other through hard times. Viewing the other person as a partner and always wanting to ask what you can do for them, not just caring about what they can do for you. Someone who is kind to you and shows you love and patience and you do so for them in return.
I used to lead group therapy sessions on healthy relationships at work and I had an acronym for them but can’t remember it anymore. Wish I would have saved my old handouts.
