I have no income unless you count student loans and money from my parents.

But by your definition my whole immediate family is upper class. They definitely are not though.

I mean I doubt it’s upper class in many places except maybe North Korea.

What would you consider upper class? How much?

100k is nowhere near upper class in NYC and LA. It depends on where you live.

I bought three pairs of jeans and runners and people call me a yuppy

Here? Maybe like a million a year. But it’s really more about capital than income.

More like 8 pairs :joy:

When my parents pass away I will probably sell this house. I get a real estate market report every month for my neighbourhood. One just came in today (Shown below). House prices fluctuate but on average the houses in my neighbourhood are going for about $1.4 million over the last several months. This month it is down a bit to $1.3 million.

But there are very nice modern houses 2 towns north of me going for about $400,000 so if I sell this house and move there, I can retire with a million in the bank. I don’t have a lot of money right now but enough to get by just fine, I am not worried about the future though, I’ll be financially secure.

You need to know the family size to know the economic situation of people. For instance one person can easily live with $30,000 per year. But a family of 4 cannot.

I’m well taken care of

Mage.
