Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Learn how your mind works, how to manipulate it, how to change your thoughts. It has a major effect.

Exercise. It costs little but it’s so beneficial. I truly believe that and I’ve got good improvement even over my negatives by adding simple, regular exercise.

I’d quite like to join the cricket club, I found a local one nearby in the community magazine & it says they welcome new players, only thing is i have an issue with piles but I was hoping it wouldn’t get in the way.

I used to, but I stopped. I’ve lost the motivation. And although I like it, I’m not good at it which affects my motivation to do it

Yes. I’m not good at art. But I’ve enjoyed making simple crafts, coloring in adult coloring books, paint by numbers, and making rugs

That sounds nice, I coloured in a few pictures during lockdown using coloured pencils, I also tried to draw a couple of things but i’m kinda like you, i was never that good and i lack confidence to learn

Its the same with my music, I love art but can’t draw and i love music but cant perform,

i have signed up for a sound production college course though so hopefully that’ll help with learning music more.

Try to be positive.

Stay med-compliant. Be honest with your treatment team. Do CBT and therapy if available to you. Do therapy books. Clean up your diet, exercise, take better care of your health. Keep busy with interests and hobbies to keep yourself sharp. Do a minimum of socializing, even if you don’t like it. Avoid watching too much video or gaming too much, neither are good for you in excess.

music helps me a lot… listening to it and making it and doing dj set. It helps me a lot to keep my mind sane.
