What can u do if your negative

Some people say I’m negative. I have a lot of worries and discontent. I dont think i have change for better over the past 6 years. I want to dump myself. What can i do to make myself less negative?

Look for small things that make you feel positive. For me, the view of the park across the street from my apartment at night is incredible. The street lights cast a golden glow over the whole thing. Maybe you could feel positive by eating at a pizza buffet one day. A good television program, a good book are things to feel positive about. Start with things you like, no matter how small, and work your way up.

Yeah. Look for things to improve your mood. I’m so different on the drugs. I’m less intense and a bit more blah about a lot of things but it’s an improve in the long run!

Little things help. Start small and work on it! Little victories and improvement is the way to go and be honest with your treatment team…Learn your symptoms and learn what works for you!

Hell, you’re negative, do you have a degree? If not get one, society rewards a negative perspective with the go getter attidute to get themselves a degree.

Next step? Get you’re bad self a career…society would probably call you “dumbass” here as in “get you’rself a career’dumbass” and then begin using you’re position/(if you’re lucky) authority to ruin others lives (I wouldn’t know as this doesn’t do “it” for me) I’ve hear enough of having spent one’s youth “crushing” others was enough to build ego (which our society loves by the way) the more ego you have and whoever you have to trample to get there no one cares but the trampleld.

You know what…volunteer at a soup kitchen if you want my respect…or live you’re career as some underpaid social servant serving the interests of those cast out or trampleled underfooot by our dog eat dog (shit) system if you ask me.

Then what?

I remember you…were you around in the old days on the boards?

It’s a cheesy quote but the meaning behind it is that you have more power over your negative emotions than you think. What really helped me via “The Power of Now” is to separate yourself away from your emotions and just mentally observe them. Separation is the key. You are not your negativity. :slight_smile:

Reverse your polarity…laugh at everything and eventually it all becomes funny…and for paranoid thoughts…i added the delision that if they try to get me i would own them and they will fear me…if they do win id ■■■■ up several of them…your fears and delusions are made by you…just mod them a little into your favor…

If your like me, you’ll do best to find a very long piece of duct tape, then place it over your mouth.
Keeps the negative from coming out.

Or, you can put a Governor on your tongue with a 2 minute hold on speaking so you can rethink whatever was about to come out your mouth is filtered out the negativity and reformed with only the positive.
If it can’t be said positive way, then see the sentence above.

yeah…I got shafted because the owner thought it good that people without schizophrenia were worthwhile above those that did! Love Chicko’s work…he did some good things but he focked over a whole generation of people who cared and put their souls into it!
