I read usually classic books
I read a lot of non-fiction. Science, comparative religion, mental health. Lots of topics like that.
I realize now I should only get non fictional and autobiographical
The 48 laws of power by Robert Greene.
My cognition has really suffered so Iāve been reading childrenās books. Iām reading The Little House on the Prairie series.
Oh those are so awesome
Some of my favorite books of all time are childrensā books. My absolute favorites are A. A. Milneās Winnie the Pooh and The House on Pooh Corner.
I also love the James Herriot books, such as All Creatures Great and Small.
Iāve just read a book called āThirteenā. It was really, really good. I wonāt give too much away but itās about a serial killer and a con artist turned lawyer. Other than that, iām also reading āHow the brain heals itselfā. It is more scientific and about neuroplasticity. I read the authorās first book, and this is a follow on from that. Very interesting read. Gives you so much hope due to all the discoveries theyāve made.
You should read Bud, Not Buddy some time.
Iām always looking for recommendations. Iāll look into it!
Sci-fi and historical.
My favourites are the Earthās Children series (perhaps better known as the āClan of the Cavebearā series)
And the Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy series.
I also like a bookseries called āSofie & Katrineā which is about a pair of sisters from my hometown, during the second world war.
Gordon korman writes great easy read but so well written books
Iām on an Anne Lamott reading streak and donāt think Iāll finish until Iāve read every book she ever wrote. She really is good with words.
I love Annie Lamott, but I have to admit Iāve only read her non-fiction books, even her book about how to write. I just love her voice.
None recently.
My favorite book, Letting Go by David R. Hawkins, is an incredible bookāa spiritual book written by a former psychiatrist
