I’m reading the second in the Witcher series “The Blood of Elves”. It’s the novels the video game are based on and it’s really well written and smart fantasy writing if you like that sort of thing.
LS! I am reading “The Wheel of Time” by Robert Jordan. I am halfway book five. Also I am reading “Authority” by professor Frank Furedi. Yesterday I looked up the test in “Brain Food” by Lisa Mosconi.
@LilyoftheValley, how is that book? I have the digital version. Over the winter, my nurse printed out an article on depression for me and that was one of the books the author recommended. I think I would like to read it if its any good?
@Winterblues She says shame is being sorry for who you are instead of what you’ve done. The whole book so far is based on letting go of shame. So if you struggle with that I think you’d like to read it.
I just finished reading kurtisanen and now I am reading :Allt jag inte minns which was a gift from my mum.its a Swedish book.
I also have deepak Chopras the path to love that I am reading as well but taking a break.
I want to read fantasy like you Rogueone.
I have several books to read but after that next book I buy or lend should be fantasy I think.
I’m considering reading ‘Clan of the cavebear’ again.
It’s my favourite book, the entire series is, and it always makes me feel good although it has a lot of sad things happening.
I just love the way I totally disappear into its universe and forget about everything around me when I read it.
I’m reading “The Turn of the Screw”, by Henry James. I’m having a hard time deciding if I like it or not. I’m in the middle of it right now. I’m waiting for the book, “Oliver Twist”, by Charles Dickens, to come in the mail. I’ve enjoyed a lot of his books.
