movies you’ve watched recently? I’ve been watching some really old but good movies at the suggestion of a very special nursing home resident that I work with. And I’ve been enjoying myself thoroughly.

Some of the movies I’ve been watching are:

“Giant”, with Rock Hudson and Elizabeth Taylor. It’s about discrimination against Mexican’s in the 1950’s.
“Imitation of Life”, with Lana Turner. It’s about discrimination against black people in the 1950’s.
“Saratoga Trunk”, with Ingrid Bergman and Gary Cooper. It’s about an ambitious young woman who falls in love.
“With a Song in My Heart”, with Susan Hayward. A true story about a popular American entertainer.
“Last Train from Gun Hill”, with Kirk Douglas and Anthony Quinn. Two best friends have a showdown.

“Town without Pity” with Kirk Douglas. A girl is destroyed on the witness stand at a trial for her rapists.
“Man in a Grey Flannel Suit” with Gregory Peck. A man struggles to put his experiences as a paratrooper in WWII behind him.

I rented Hustlers, but now my dvd player doesn’t work. Don’t know when I’ll get one.

Mrs. Pererine’s Home for Peculiar Children’s series are very, very entertaining and scary as heck!

The next movie I got to watch is The Yearling, with Gregory Peck. I downloaded it. It’s waiting for me.
