We are grilling lamb chops with neighbors.

I have a half day at work on Monday so that’s exciting. I’ll probably go for a run in the morning.
I think most people around here go camping for memorial day.

Times we spend with family and relatives. And talk about the past. The good times were never the past and the past was never the good times. But the lessons we learn from them are priceless. Can you remember any of the things that you used to do on Memorial Day? That have changed over the years. I am older now and cannot water ski. And at my age, I don’t think I would drive a boat anymore. I enjoyed those luxuries back then.

We grilled burgers last night for our youngest daughter and her boyfriend because she works tonight.
My middle daughter is really sick and couldn’t make it.
Our eldest lives across the country.
We had a nice time.

I went to a big family gathering yesterday for my aunt’s retirement party. It was at a brewery, so there were a bunch of non-family regular folks there. It was pretty chaotic for my mental health, but I did it!
Anyways, my mom is grilling steaks tonight. Can’t wait!

I’m staying inside all day and not venturing out. It is the end of the day here and I practiced mandolin once and guitar twice, read a few pages of a novel, and didn’t do much else. There’s war movies on all the channels.
