Ive been rediagnosed with schizoaffective bipolar type by my newish therapist. She told me that today. She thinks my positive symptoms are trauma related

Psychiatrists = psychiatric model
Psychologists/therapist = psychological model

My experience.

Hence, psychologists can’t diagnose here (officially).

But It wouldn’t hurt to work around trauma as long as she’s not pushing to do ‘past life’ therapies or the like.

That’s good. I was once in therapy with a clinical psychologist who also turned out to be a shaman. I had to listen to a lot of crazy stuff.

I’m content with my diagnosis of schizoaffective depressive type.

Earthlings don’t understand it, so there’s that litmus test. While at the same time, it easily described my range of symptoms to medical professionals.

Spent 5 days a week with a psyche in a partial hospitalization. He helped me greatly, and gave me his interpretation.

When he cleared up some mood stabilization, I was still hallucinating, he said that was from the psychosis.
