A lot of people here (myself included) are worried that people are laughing at you.
Mostly we’re wrong. But the truth is that you sometimes will be laughed at. Even if we had never become schizophrenic, people are going to laugh at you. That’s to be expected. So no one likes to be laughed at but just expect that some idiots are going to laugh at you for no reason and it is not entirely schizophrenia’s fault.
I can take some laughing at me. A lot of it depends on the spirit in which it is done. I’d rather have them laughing than offended.

I prefer to have them laugh with me as confirmation that I am a somewhat valued person…
