Sometimes I go out in the carport and just sit in my car with the engine running and the heater on.
I learned a few months ago it’s illegal in California.

I just looked it up.
Apparently you’re not allowed to idle for more than 5 minutes in CA.
Oh wait. That’s just for diesel commercial vehicles like trucks. I guess passenger vehicles it depends on the local ordinance.

Since we are on the topic of law breaking :
When I went to the local courthouse for my hearing, I noticed something odd while I was pulling up. Almost every person exiting and entering the building from and to the street was jaywalking. I guess the law only exists INSIDE the building.
