Well it’s confirmed - my sarcosine makes me bleed

Got some sarcosine off ■■■■■■■ eBay. Some of you may remember I was passing blood a month or so ago. This was after taking this sarcosine.

Anyway I stopped the sarcosine, went to the doctor. We decided to see if it would disappear on its own. I did disappear.

Anyway I took some sarcosine yesterday and today am passing blood again.

Lesson don’t buy any old ■■■■. Get good stuff.

Good advice. Did you ever take it before from another source?

Think I got some from America years ago. But I didn’t have that problem back then. Must be a dodgy source here.

Sir, I think you bought crystal meth.
In all seriousness, needlesstosay I did not have that experience, and yeah you probably shouldn’t buy it from Ebay :S

Thing is there is a tentative link between sarcosine and prostate cancer. Maybe the sarcosine I am taking is affecting my prostate and giving me blood in my sperm. Either way I am not taking that stuff again.

I had the same problem when I was taking a testosterone booster a few years ago, back when I thought my testosterone levels were low. It scared the hell out of me, considering my history of ulcerative colitis and being high risk for colon cancer. I’m glad you figured out the problem.

Seriously be careful with your sources. Recently there was a scandal with a prenatal vitamin that turned out to have less than 10% of the folic acid it said on the label. Folic acid/folate prevents a kind of birth defect, among other things. Anyway, it was an allegedly reputable brand. Lesson: it ain’t always what it says on the label.

Did your doctor do a prostate exam and order a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test?
