Well, at least it worked once

Melatonin for sleep. It worked last night, maybe it will work again. I was laying in bed, wide awake for hours and I was supposed to work today. At 5:00 am I took 10 mg of melatonin and next thing I know it was morning time.

Lower doses such as 0.5 mg are more effective than higher ones. 10 is a lot.

Interesting, I did not know that. I’ll get some 3 mg tablets tomorrow.

I found that out the hard way. I took 1.5 after and it helped.

Past few nights I took 1mg pill each night and i got around 6 hours sleep. And one night 4 hr sleep.That’s good enough.
For some reason sleep comes in cycles. 2 -3 nights longer sleep and one night shorter sleep.
Did it happend to anybody else? Does anybody know why?

Ps: the pill i take has melatonin and valerian
