Weird visual symptoms

Not sure what these are related to, I see a neurologist in November though for other things and I think I’ll bring it up.

I keep seeing small pin points of bright light, or flashes of light like someone took a picture, or blue blobs of light, strings of lights, but also sometimes when I wake up especially I see dark black holes in my vision too. And also in the corner of my eyes I keep seeing movements, not like my usual hallucinations I don’t think, but I keep thinking I see movement on the ground and that it’s an animal but nothing is there.

I have visuals but my eyes are fine and my brain is fine besides SZ. I’d get both checked to rule them out.

They know I have a neurological disorder and think it’s functional neurological disorder. I’m just unsure if it’s related but :thinking: certainly not a fun symptom lol

I would see a doctor post haste. This may be a hallucination, but it could be signs of retinal detachment.

With all of your conditions and the array of meds you’re on it is possible one of those meds could be causing vision problems. There are a lot of meds that affect vision. Doesn’t sound like they are aura seizures from neurological issues. I know you said you have seizures. Don’t wait too long, some vision problems can be irreparable. Not trying to worry you. Check into your meds. Some neuro meds have vision side effects.
