I don’t answer phone calls if I don’t recognize the number. Just a few minutes ago I let a 1-800 number go to voicemail. They left a message so i went to listen to it. It was a man heavily breathing into the phone. Freaking me out.

What I can’t figure out is why it was a toll.free number. Can anyone get those?

Ewww…that is disgusting. I’m always afraid when I listen to those messages that it will be something like that. That’s just gross.

I believe there are tools online that allow a person to act like they’re calling from any number they want. It’s called “spoofing.”

I could tell you a horror story that happened to my young cousin when she was about seven. but I won’t…it was a phone call. nobody was there when he called and he told my cousin to do things…bad things or he would off her parents. the girl was hysterical…thought I wasn’t going to say…anyways…phone messages when I was delusional was really bad.

We still get telemarketing calls and we are on the do not call list. I have my niece let off her whoppee cushion into the phone and we hang up. Hahahahaha

Yes, they can make the number look like any number, so what you see on the phone is not the number they are calling from
