Weighted blankets. Anyone have one?

Anyone have experience using weighted blankets to help with anxiety? I’m buying one tomorrow and I’m super excited about it.

Yes I love mine

@Hanna_Foxx @Moon
Really do they make that much difference? Why?
And are they too hot at night?

Mr. star loves ours. I don’t care for it.

@Artsygal it is not too hot at night if you buy a breathable one. Some can be very sweaty, but ours isn’t

My autistic daughter has one and loves it.

One thing to consider is that they can be hard on the ankles if you sleep on your back, because of the extra weight pushing your feet down. I keep mine off my feet.

Wife said it works for anxiety…

I like mine, fiancée got it for me. I don’t toss and turn as much at night, it’s comforting, not to hot.

I like it.

It sounds very claustrophobic if it’s weighted

I cant sleep with mine because my dog sleep nexts to me and mine is fairly heavy. Shes a small dog so she might get hurt under that

Seroquel makes me not able to move while sleeping. I wonder if it would be a bad idea to use a weighted blanket then. I have to wake up to be able to move my body at all, which means I sometimes sleep in the same position for 5 or more hours.
