I don’t know, genetic engineering just seems wrong. Having a society without any imperfections sounds flat out dystopian

If you want to remain the way you are you are free to do it…
It just gives you the option to change your genes the way you see fit,
but you can keep your own genes if you wish,
or to choose genes with any imperfections you like…

you are wrong.
Some people prefer being male while others prefer being female.
Some people want to have intercourse while some are asexual.
Some prefer a lean body structure and some prefer a fat one.
In the cognitive realm, different people value different traits.

I’m not saying there won’t be any diversity. Just that humanity won’t be flawed. Everyone will be perfect, in different ways, but still perfect. There’s something kind of wrong about that

@anon55713086 but the wonderful thing about this, is that it gives you freedom
to choose your genetic parameters.
It gives you more options, more opportunities.
I think that the moral thing to do is to support this and let people follow their dreams.
If you change once and are unhappy with your choice, you can change again.
Imagine having the opportunity to choose your parameters rather than being stuck
with your current parameters as we are now…
