Want to keep your brain sharp in old age? Helping others could be key

I have been watching Michael Mosely’s ‘Super agers’ recently, and the key beneficial thing that crossed programmes was exercise.

It kept people young. It fought off inflammation. It helped cognitively etc

It really was key.

Mosely died of the English malady of “Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun.”

Otherwise he aimed to live a long time.

What if this becomes common knowledge and doctors recommend people to help others to stay sharp?
