I think diet and exercise is important too.

Then the thing is if you are not very bright ,irrespective of whether you have schizophrenia or not, are you going to engage that much in intellectually stimulating activities ?
They say that intelligent people’s mental faculties are kept intact longer but the decline if and when it occurs is more dramatic.

I agree with @insidemind ! I think decent exercise has a huge role to play with outcomes. I know it’s a personal mission of mine but they are starting to study it scientifically!

The tricky bit is finding an exercise I can do. Going to the gym ?- No! Requiring much coordination or physical agility ? - No . Most liked physical activities- Walking (but for distance walking need someone with me) and swimming(would need someone with me to get to pool). Indoor exercises?- Simple ones that don’t require much coordination etc. Open to suggestions.
