Vraylar's half-life scares me

Reading vraylar’s prospectus, I found this, verbatim: ''After discontinuation of vraylar, plasma concentrations of cariprazine, DCAR and DDCAR decreased in a multiexponential manner. The mean plasma concentrations of DDCAR decreased by about 50% 1 week after the last dose, and the mean concentrations of cariprazine and DCAR decreased by about 50% in about 1 day. There was an approximately 90% decrease in plasma exposure within 1 week for cariprazine and DCAR, and at approximately 4 weeks for DDCAR.
After a single 1 mg dose of cariprazine, DDCAR remained detectable 8 weeks post-dose.

Oh my God. 2 months in the blood after stopping. I will tell my psychiatrist to take abilify again. While it’s just as bad as vraylar for me, at least it doesn’t have as high a half-life. 2 months!

Hmmmm
My pdoc likes and thinks I should try cariprazine

If it doesn’t cause you depression, I guess you’d do well with cariprazine. It’s more powerful than abilify, but I can’t tolerate it.
