Vraylar side effects

Any side effects? Did it make you more angry/irritable? Any weight gain?

I have an apt in a few hrs with my family dr, I hope he will refer me to a psychiatrist so I can try Vraylar.

It will have a typical encyclopaedia of side effects included in the packet like all other APs and it will affect you individually like all other APs.with risk of death included!

Vraylar made me manic. I was only sleeping like 3 hours per night, for like 3 months straight. I’d cry for really stupid reasons and get really irritated for really stupid reasons. There were probably other manic symptoms, but I can’t remember.

What about Abilify? I think Abilify made me manic but my Dr says no and that I have sz, not sza.

I tried Abilify for only a few weeks. I had to switch because it caused weight gain almost immediately, and a lot. I don’t remember any other side effects, but I wasn’t on it for very long.

No, no, and no. I was on it for a few months, at doses up to 3 mg. Maybe it was slightly activating – just maybe.

Why did you stop it if it was good?

Lack of effect, the doctor wanted me on fewer drugs, and I wanted to try lurasidone (Latuda). When I started it, I already had no positive symptoms, and it didn’t do anything significant about my negatives (apathy).

Did anything help with that? I also have it.

Yes, dopamine reuptake inhibitors (stimulants). I’ve used methylphenidate (Ritalin; Concerta in my case) on prescription and a couple of others on the gray market. However, they can induce or worsen psychosis in individuals who are predisposed.

Pramipexole (Mirapex, Sifrol) helped temporarily. Sulpiride (antipsychotic related to amisulpride) was impressive – stronger than methylphenidate – but also helped only temporarily.
