Vrayler and insomnia - does it get better?

I’ve just started Vrayler and my sleep has become a mess. Is this a known side effect and does it go away after a while?

I feel better and more activated, but I’m getting a bit crazy from lack of sleep. I’m also taking Abilify - pdoc wants to cross taper them.

According to this article, it is a known side effect. I don’t know if it goes away after awhile.

Vraylar can be extremely activating!
It felt like I was on speed! (I never tried speed)

I couldn’t sleep a wink on it!

It made me manic and psychotic and I was involuntarily committed twice because of it.

Thanks @Wave I might ask the pdoc if I can stop it. I’ve gotten suicidal thoughts since I’ve been on it as well

I used to take them before bedtime but I couldn’t sleep so I take them in the morning.

I have not had suicidal thoughts due to vraylar but I am more irritable.

When I was in the hospital I also had this problem that I could not sleep for more than 30 minutes. I don’t remember how it went away or if it did. I had to stop it twice. It made me restless - I was walking around a table 8 hours at a time…

And I only had 1.5 mg.
