Oooh… @anon67051439 could you be interested or are you not planning on vraylar anymore?
Yes I will try it. Weird that it shows still under review on the government website. It was submitted for review last June. I think it will take some time to be available in pharmacies. Thanks.
Vraylar was a miracle
drug at 3mg
for my positives my only prob
was I couldn’t sleep for the whole month, I would just take it in the morning
and feel great. And do stuff, even with no sleep. Only slept when i drank half a bottle of zzzquil twice in that month. had to switch cause my check engine light was on. sleep deprivation.
Good luck! Made in Budapest
Yeah I was thinking of @anon67051439 as well
Congrats!! @anon67051439
Does vraylar go with clozaril?
Looking for better motivation.
Not mentioned yet as covered by the Quebec Public Prescription Drug Insurance Plan.
Paying out of pocket would be expensive.
Finally made it @anon67051439 !
Good luck @anon67051439 . I have been on Vraylar for one and a half month and my mood and energy is certainly much better, no miracles, but a solid improvement.
First I was on the lowest dose and had a big improvement, but when I, according to the plan, took 3 mg, some of my chronic sadness returned.
I did some research, and found an article on pubmed that said that in the case of bipolar depression there is better data for 1.5 mg than 3 mg. I also read some posts on reddit etc where people, strangely enough, had better effect on depressive symptoms on 1.5 mg rather than 3 mg.
If you have positive symptoms as well i cant imagine 1.5 mg is enough.
Glad to hear vraylar got approved in canada as i live there. I might try vraylar. I just tried seroquel and didnt like it as it made me sleep 14 hours a day.
Hopefully it can help some people out.
Couldn’t find Rexulti in the list either but my rexulti was covered. Though for Rexulti my pdoc had to fill a special request paper to get it covered by insurance and it was accepted.
@anon67051439 what insurance are you on since your not working. I live in canada too so im just wondering. You mentioned before to me that your waiting for vraylar so you must be excited it finally came out. Let me know how it is as maybe i will switch to it.
I am on Quebec free public health insurance called RAMQ. I have a public health card since I was a kid but I may have applied at my pharmacy or online to cover some meds. You surely have it as its required to live in Canada, at least here in Qc, ask your pharmacy about it. But for private insurance you need to pay.
How are you paying your meds now? Maybe you can apply online here:
For some new meds like Rexulti your pdoc needs to fill a paper and send it to the government for approval to cover these meds. I was always accepted, Latuda and Rexulti.
I really hope this works for you @anon67051439… hugs
It was approved in USA September 2015. So about 6 and a half years later.
I think it will be available to use in June.
