What prn med is the best and safest for no side effects (TD, high prolactin, weight gain)?

My options are:

#1 seroquel XR

#2 haldol

#3 risperidone

But I’d go for haldol. It’s fast acting.

A few times a week she said I could use it.

I don’t know if I would use that much but she said I could. @everhopeful

Will I get TD if I take haldol a few times a week? That really worries me. I’m kind of freaking out. I think haldol is best too but I’m freaking out about TD. @everhopeful

If it’s a PRN I’d go with Haldol
But discuss with your doctor

Seroquel is the least heavy medication. I would try that one first.

im taking risperidone rn from haldol. i have taken seroquel before too. and i am really liking the risperidone. it works better and im having no side effects rn except it makes me a little tired after i take it. i havent gained weight with any of them. but it does make me more hungry but not too much for me to resist.

I agree with @sweetpotatopie. We aren’t doctors, and people react differently to medication.
