Last night laying down on my bed, I crushed a serpents head, I dreamed he bit at my heel, Burning venom in my veins, Poisoned heart, Corroded brain, Darkness pours out of my eyes, Spiritual meltdown, Addiction/slave, I’m sleeping in my grave, Just part of what you pay, Six feet under the ground, My soul is going down to Hell, Worms eating at my flesh, I now am rotted to the bone, I feel the fire begin to burn, I smell the stench of burning flesh, I hear the screams of tortured men, What is this twisted dream? Future reality? Is it you or is it me who woke up screaming? I cried, I fell down on my face, I’m desperate, I begin to pray, I call that mighty name, It frees me from my sin, My demons seem to die within, I’m glad the good guy wins my soul in this Vision of Hell.
Every day I try to quell,
This existential living hell,
Voices chatter, demon-kind,
Feasting on my beleaguered mind,
So I heat the knife, metal torch,
Grimacing, my flesh I scorch,
And all the feelings in my skin,
Reboot and I’m numb again,
But never does it end the voices,
Just leads to more bad choices,
And still the demons laugh and sing,
They possess my very being,
And when I die I’ll know release,
From my brand of vociferous beast.

In dream analysis snakes mean something totally different, not bad at all but then I don’t believe in hell either.
Sounds like a nightmare to me. I know the how real they can feel. Some dreams leave me with a dreadful feeling. Don’t worry though, it won’t come true.
this is already hell,
Kind of like a piece of you going through the motions to arrange the way you’d wish for continuously for reasons I don’t even care to know.
Very good poetry, makes me want to force myself to be creative again.
I think hell would be an amazing fun giant party.
