I totally agree, though I’m not into sackboy and that, but Astro bot is really fun. I didn’t think it would be as good as it is.
Halo might be coming to PlayStation they say, and I hope it does. The first trilogy would be nice. I’m not huge on halo but my dad and uncle are, but I played the crap outta the first 3.
It’s sad Xbox may no longer be here in the future, and halo coming to PlayStation, but it’s really kicked PlayStation up the butt in terms of online play.
If it wasn’t for Xbox then online wouldn’t be the same, because Xbox is what started the online back in the day….when Sony was a bit slow to get it’s online gaming up and running back in the day.
Sony has proven a lot though. The Xbox 360 had a whole year head start to the ps3, but ps3 made a comeback with exclusive games and free online play.
The Xbox did have red ring of death back in the day, I must of went through 10 Xbox 360s, but I did love the 360…still do.
Astro bot is actually good enough to take on Mario. Could the future be Astro Bot vs Mario? lol
But Xbox is still good!
Xbox isn’t going away just because it’s loosening exclusivity. They have plans for a portable console that ideally can play many of the titles on your Xbox account. They are also working on a Next Gen console already, just no Pro refresh of this generation.
SH2 Remake is so good. Watching it on stream because I don’t have a system that can run it. Huge improvement over the original.
Getting my butt kicked on Street Fighter 6 casual (not so casual) matches. But so far I’m focusing on the main story, which is decent so far. It’s not Injustice level story for a fighting game, but a pretty good one.
dragon ball sparking zero player count is insane, 112,000 people playing on steam alone and its only been out a day. makes me ashamed to be a naruto fan as the latest naruto game has has less than 200 players and when i plahed it online i could barely find 1 other player to match.
ive never really watched db much but maybe ill watch some of the gameplay of the new game as anime fighting games are exciting
Yeah, I almost got that but decided I wouldn’t play it enough to justify 109.99 (I always get top version).
Plus the pre order bonus was said to be available later so I was gonna wait awhile for it to go on sale years down the road.
Those are impressive numbers but we’ll have to see how long they last. It’s definitely doing well initially though.
The gameplay really doesn’t look different from budokai tenkaichi games before it, just a lot prettier graphically (the energy blasts really look good on this one)
it seems alot of people have been waiting for a budokai tenkaichi follow up since ps2 era lol, i have dbz kakarot and fighterz but never played much. im not getting sparking zero tho lol that is a hefty price for a game that if history repeats will just be another line of letters to look at in my steam library
I was worried my last post may seem negative towards Xbox, but honestly that wasn’t my intention. It’s on the ign news now that Xbox may not make another console.
I hope they do make another Xbox for competition, and for people who are Xbox fans.
Can’t really buy PC games these days. Even the box just gives you it on Steam or similar.
I didn’t think it was negative, it just seemed like you said something like “I’ll miss them” so I thought you might think they were quitting the industry.
Worms 2 on pc is brilliant, one of my favourite pc games.
People are still playing Uncharted 4 multiplayer in 2024.
That’s crraazzyy.
I remember playing Uncharted 2 multiplayer with my high school buddies 15 years ago.
I just got a flood of nostalgia.

I went from being able to do this MvC2 Cable triple AHV combo from like 5% of the time to like 80%. The feeling of mastering a difficult precise combo is so thrilling to me. I had to hook up my joystick though, this game requires faster inputs than I can do on a pad. It’s nothing like Street Fighter 6.
Games are great for cognitive function I think. You have to recall moves and combos in fighting games, so always using your memory.
It’s great feeling when you pull off a hard combo you’ve been mastering.
They really are something else, it’s like teaching yourself an instrument. When you actually play it just sounds like you’re mashing all the buttons as fast as you can haha but in reality they are precise and carefully timed rhythmic movements.
lol yeh, their great for you I think
