Are you soulless robots? (video game)
Actors? (Truman show)
Expansions of my mind? (solipsism)
One alien in many forms? (capgras)
Avatar (video game).
It’s really difficult to prove the existence of others, being as real as me.
Others are a problem for me.
Since childhood I was obsessed with God.
I was praying and I was feeling this unique relationship between me and Him.
I thought we are One, playing the game of Two.
Only me and Him are real.
So other beings are like robots, soulless, only externally resembling real beings.
Please don’t flag me for talking about God.
God here is part of my “delusions”
How could you help me, people?
I would lay off the philosophy for a while and just do something relaxing. It sounds like you think too much and could be suffering from overthinking. Are you dissociated? I’ve been where you are but pretty much recovered. Do you have OCD?
I think my Solipsism came about from going to outer space and possibly Mars. Most people don’t believe that though. I do.
Religion and philosophy make me delusional,
it seems.
No OCD nor dissociation.
Personally, when I look at Religion it’s because I think it was made up by ancient aliens. I read into things. I think it’s the Illuminati doing it to control the population, but I won’t talk about it more here. People find it offensive and I respect religion. I try to be a Christian myself and I had religious paranoia before back in 2015 and my mom and step-dad are very religious people but would never exorcise me or whatnot. My mom thinks these “aliens” are just demons.
Fortunately, my folks are not religious.
They don’t believe in demons etc.
That helps
@insidemind, do you dissociate for a long time?
Severe, severe case 24/7 for 6-7 years every day and every second. It’s gone now. I pretty much cured it or got it to a level where it barely bothers me or I notice it. It’s called depersonalization/derealization disorder.
Yes, I have experienced it, several times when extremely anxious, it lasted for an hour or less.
I have a friend on Facebook who dissociates everyday, all day. I didn’t know one could have it constantly
She saw a psychiatrist, and he prescribed abilify, but she didn’t comply with his instructions.
Capgras delusion is when one believes that someone, friend, family, partner etc, is replaced by impostor
When I first got him from college I thought that. It’s gone now. Some of these are neurological disorders. Could even be a migraine.
Have you seen a neurologist yet?
Both my ex pdoc and my current one are neurologists and psychiatrists too
They both have this little hammer for hitting the knee of the neurological patient. How is it called?
My neurologist said I dont have schizophrenia but chronic migraines. My current psychiatrist can’t seem to figure out if I have bipolar or paranoid schizophrenia. I am very low functioning but don’t hear voices or hallucinate. If you believe what I have to say, I probably have PTSD symptoms and low to no motivation. I don’t like leaving the house.
I’m addicted or dependent on energy drinks.
Maybe you have simple schizophrenia.
But you have positive symptoms: many intricate delusions. And some of them bizarre.
Bizarre delusions are schizophrenia
More like bizarre beliefs or ideas, but I get your point.
