I have an early appointment far away. My meds make me too groggy to drive in the morning.
My insurance allows 6 round trip of transportation per year so I’m using one today.
They’re sending me an Uber.
I don’t know this driver. I’m so scared. But I have to get this test done and it’s a special test they only do super early in the morning
Please help me calm down!
Maybe listen to some music.
I do that when I don’t feel like talking to a taxi driver.
Can you take someone along? That might also help.
When I feel stressed in an Uber I like to have be on the phone with someone. Can you call someone to talk to while you’re in the car?
Uber drivers are well vetted. If anyone should be generally worried it’s the driver! All the bad stories I’ve heard about ubers involve the client

I might talk to the driver. I’m not sure. One of my biggest fears is the men kidnapping and torturing me so this is not easy for me

Just kidding. I don’t have any particular suggestions atm, but most of the time the anticipatory nervousness is worse than when the event actually happens. Good luck.

My driver is a woman thankfully! What’s weird is she started driving before I was belted in. I asked her to wait for me to get my seatbelt on but she didn’t.
She also said she was late because she had to change her tire. We have a lot of highway driving so I’m hoping it’s not a typical spare tire
Done with my test and waiting for my next ride.
