Do you believe my case could be only drug induced psychosis?
Though I still have symptoms, from 2016-2017.
I am probably truly schizophrenic because it lasts for so many years.
Do you believe symptoms can last for so many years only because it was drug induced, or I should rather accept the fact it’s psychotic illness what I have?
I rarely have symptoms, but I still do
I had drug induced psychosis but led to sz or rather in retrospect its seen as sz

I am just still so not sure about my case, because my pdoc still believe one day I can stop meds. Though even till this day rarely but I do have symptoms
I wouldn’t think drug induced psychosis that is not schizophrenia or some other psychotic disorder would last that long in all honesty.
Maybe drugs triggered your schizophrenia. I don’t know.
Anyway, this is really a question for your pdoc.

I also think the same. Sadly one day my pdoc says one thing, another day another thing. It’s really triggering to not know what I actually have

My episode was drug induced, st. Johns wort… but I think I had sz before just not symptomatic.

I think I should probably close this thread, since it is basically asking for a diagnosis. This is something we should leave to the professionals and not people on this forum. And the rules say such.
