Klonopin was effective but it stopped losing effectiveness
Xanax and Ativan I don’t like how short the half life is

The effects can wear of fast and dose can get very high

Supposed to take 5 mg 2x a day. Maybe I can split it to 2.5 and take it 2-3 times per day tbh based upon how strong it feels right now I think it would work at that dose

No I hate antidepressants why?
Cause antidepressant is long way solution for anxiety amd benzos shouldnt be used longer than 3 weeks.
I’ve been on 1.5mg of clonazepam (klonopin) for about 10 months now, every night before bed because I have horrible insomnia and can’t sleep with out it. Good to know it stops working I may be able to replace it with valium.
At this point I’ve developed a dependence on it, but with benzos, the longer the half life the easier they are to quit. If clonazepam stops working, I’ll talk to my doctor about valium.

I havent used a benzo. I have sleep problems. They didnt even give it in the ward. Closest was zopiclone.

I was once given Valium before a procedure. It literally did nothing. I felt no different. I have no idea how people get addicted to it because I don’t get calm with it, I don’t get a buzz, nothing!

I’m hoping i can get ten + years out of Valium like I did with klonopin then they’ll have all type of new anti anxiety meds by then. Yeah antidepressants don’t help me but klonopin always did. I prefer Valium now tho it’s got good properties

I’ve been using 2.5mg Valium every night for more than 2 years now. I sometimes use 5mg when my legs get restless or if I have racing thoughts. I don’t feel the need to take a higher dosage.

I’ll probably take 2.5 only 1-2 times per day . I never built much in klonopin any tolerance then I got real anxious toward the end. Don’t think I need 5. It was stronger than klonopin ever was for me though

Yea Valium is quite potent. There was a time when I took 2 × 2.5mg a day when I had a relapse. It really helped. I had no problem to came down to 2.5mg a day again.

I take 1 mg xanax 4 x a day every day.
Sometimes I need more than 1 mg and double up. But will not take anything over 4mg / day.
Since its a daily PRN i have to have it everyday. So no messing around and take more than you are allotted by the max. For you its 5mg / 2x a day. So 10mg and you are done for the day.
I’ve od’ed on Klonopin and Atavan before. They took me to the emergency room, but I have only the faintest memory of that. I don’t know if they pumped my stomach. It wasn’t a suicide attempt. Those pills were stronger than I thought. That was all.
