So if you remember, my husband darn near burned his hand off. Well, yesterday was 3 weeks sonce the burn. As of today he can go without a bandage! Its all covered with skin and looks great.
No, he never got to go to the burn unit. The ride was never approved. I think we did pretty good, though.

I hope the ordeal wasn’t too painful for him. Burn wounds can hurt badly.
Glad to hear it’s better. When I was a teenager I burned my hand on a barbeque grill outside, and it hurt like hell.
He actually wasn’t in any pain. He has neuropathy in his hands.
The weird thing is now that it has healed, he has feeling in that hand again!

That’s a good bonus though! Maybe the damaged nerve ends got burnt off and new ones grew out?
