I was put on Clozapine about 2 years ago and it made a HUGE difference in both my suicidal ideation and self harm behaviors. I used to constantly think about ways to kill myself, ruminating all the time about suicide…now I simply don’t experience that. There’s been no other med that helped so much with that, it’s worth the minor side effects.

I tried it, and my WBC dropped, so they took me off. Le sigh.

Wellbutrin turned my suicidal ideation off like flipping a switch. Wonderful med. Now if only something would do the same for my negative symptoms.
