I developed a flat expression when i started seroquel/depression left me but for some reason, my resting face tends to go to smiling sometimes, not to a reaction to anything, just smiling for no reason.
Is this common in schizophrenia?
Yes I laugh on sad and not funny things. I feel silly. Its called inappropriate emotions. I laugh in funerals, church, etc

It’s common I find too… I had it too, I even was smiling before through tears though…
But dont feel so bad about it. The unconscious smiling is natural too. Plus I guess that we need to smile too sometimes yeap 
I was smiling uncontrollably when I was on sirotinin many years ago for something completely unrelated to my present schizophrenia. I never experienced uncontrollable laughter or smiling when delusional or clean.
