June is the estimated completion of the study regarding ulotaront, can’t wait for it. I discussed with my doctor to import the medicine when it’s available in the USA
There are 5 USA trials of ulotaront running now, with 1 completed. (No phase 3 results yet published.) Only the company knows which trial results it will use in application.

That’s good to know
Is it legal to import medication that is not approved in your country? (Hope it’s not a stupid question, I’m genuinely curious)
It’s legal if my condition is considered as part of the special access route
I think a lot of countries have this, you might want to look it up
It will be very expensive without health coverage
If caplyta costs around 1700 dollars, Ulotaront will not cost less than 2000 dollars, I’m sure.
There’s an article that says it cost 1400+ for wholesale price
They also have a target price stated in their annual reports
1400 doesn’t sound like much, at least not for a drug like ulotaront. In any case, if we want to buy the cheapest generic, we would have to wait 10 years. When the patent expires, right?
No idea when their patent ends, but I am sure I will be trying to import the medicine even before the patent ends
What good is a medicine in the prognosis if there are lot of psychotic breaks and episodes in life. I am such person with that. Now on the brink of losing my life to it. But things that holds me together are hope and luck and past employment from good people and current employment from good people as well. Otherwise tough luck for me.
