5% people has more than 7% weight loss, 1.6% has more than 7% weight gain, i cant tell if it helps to lose weight or not actually…

I think Caplyta is $17000 a year via GoodRX. ($1440 a month currently.)
The article implies only a small percent of patients will receive the medicine the first couple of years after approval.

Can you provide source please ?

All those new DRUGS ain’t worth the money because they cannot suppress the positive symptoms as well as decade old meds.

I need something as effective or more effective than 5-6mg risperidone or I will never switch meds.

Averages $1400/month. So stupid!

Regardless of cost i intend to try the drug as the side effects of current medications are horrific. Sucks still another 4 years until it gets released. Then even longer for it to get released in canada.

Btw this post should br put on the “news” section.

If you are rich enough, you can try importing the medicine from us through a private psychiatrist, check with your psychiatrist on how importing works

That’s what I plan to do, not advising you to do the same

I’m looking forward to this med, when can we expect it to hit the shelves?

So you can import medication that aren’t out in your country legally from the US? No problems?

I asked my Dr about it and he said its illegal.

The side effects of this drug you’ll first know 4 years after release. No drug is without side effects.

Most trials end early 2023, one trial early 2024. So the med might be approved 2024 or 2025. It will be expensive enough that most insurance providers will avoid or discourage coverage.
My guess is it will only work long term on half of patients who try it.
