Well, I guess it can be useful if it actually works. But preventing a murder before it occurs..I don’t see that happening. Cool movie btw

That’s the dilemma. They couldn’t really do that. They do it with ciriminals sometimes if they are thought to be a danger to society their sentence gets extended. But people who are already free, I guess they might put surveilance on them though.
Predictive policing isn’t exactly a hit in minority communities. Good luck selling more police profiling to them.
Unfortunately, every time they go to get the data from the researchers running the program, someone has murdered them already.
I remember talking about how they were developing something like this in a public policy & ethics class in 2007.
It’s problematic to say the least.
