When are homicidal thoughts (or suicidal thoughts) a cause for worry/serious and when are they harmless?
When are they OCD related and when are they psychosis related?

Homicidal or suicidal thought are harmless unless you act on them @Hadeda.
I’ve had mild suicidal thoughts in between episodes, but never during an episode.
Never felt homicidal however.
I don’t think these are psychosis-related.
I know nothing about OCD, sorry.
I’m worried about you. I strongly believe you need a medication adjustment. Please see your psychiatrist again soon…very soon…and discuss these thoughts you are having with him/ her.
Oh I see, so it’s when there’s planning involved…
People make a big deal out of death. On the other hand if you are having suicidal thoughts you should check with your doc your anti-depressive meds. Depression can make us do things we wouldn’t otherwise. If you’re having homicidal thoughts don’t do it. You will do jail time which will take away your freedom.
In my case my homicidal thoughts are harmless except if I am feeling emotional then things can get really bad in this state I have done evil things just my experience.
I used to do evil things before I was diagnosed. sz made me humble and benevolent which is my own self. Without meds I acted a lot on emotions and I find this a mistake. I never act when I am emotional. I wait for it to pass. Emotion is antagonist to reason as I see it so I never act on it. I usually put myself to work until it passes.
I have homicidal thoughts

They say to kill random people,
and especially my grandma.
I wouldn’t harm a fly, though.
In my case, it’s not ocd.
Yes I can relate. I don’t think mine is ocd either
