Two New Poems

The first one is for my sister, the second one is for my friends. I’m so tired of being the only one that tries at these relationships, and get nothing in return. Sorry, just throwing myself a bit of a self pity party today

Ghosted

A simple “no” would suffice, but you can’t even give me that
Say something! At least make the effort at an excuse
There is a new wall between us, erected by indifference
Clutching desperately at what we once were
Or at least what I thought us to be
The last straw, the final uncoupling
God, how it aches to be ghosted

Everyone but Me

I have tried and tried
Worn my fingers down to the nub
Tried to be, what others find so easy
Sought brotherhood, rather than pity
But the simple truth is
Everyone is welcome here but me

Hey Cragger, Nice poems

I wrote a song today but it’s a work in progress, hoping to sing on it using my ovox synth sometime.

I tried recording them last night on ableton but my mic was all echo and lag :frowning: I have a few ideas to get it working better tho.

I recorded on my phone a bit as well.

These two pages will be in the Christmas zine that we have to quickly put together within like a week or two, lol, we’ll be working overtime ha-ha

I’m always impressed by how involved you are in the community. I used to go down to the brain injury Association a lot, but kind of got out of it. Now I’m starting volunteering tomorrow at the food bank. Hope all goes well!
