Got an email from TV Licensing - telling me they know i watch BBC Iplayer. And i signed a declaration saying i didnt need one. Whoops.
Gave in anyway and setup a direct debit. Truth be told i been using tv for years without one - so i consider i got my moneys worth.
Id rather do without the paranoia of them knocking on my door.
Should have got one ages ago anyway - im just tight.
It pisses me off that we need to have a fuucking license for a tv…

In the US regular tv is free, you just have to have an antenna. If you have cable or satellite you have to pay for that though.

I know some people who got busted doing that, they drive around with radars scanning peoples houses who don’t have tv licenses.

I got a phone call from tv licensing once. Don’t know who gave them my number. Thing is I had a licence. Was weird
