Trying to make music video

I got this email back haha

Hey, not all the videos that we have on the site cost thousands, some of them are made in Standard Definition, more simplified or shorter, but the average price of our HD videos is around $2000, and usually takes 1 or 2 days pre-production, 1 full day of production, and about 2 weeks to edit, so if you can come up with $2000 we can make it happen. I think its gonna compete with any modern rap video, their gonna be able to play an expensive rap video and play your video directly after and nobody will be able to tell which video is better, it’s not even going to matter cause everything is gonna fit in seamlessly. Were gonna use all of our tricks, that includes weird camera angles, trick editing, and a little bit of cheezy animation and even a few actors, and in no part of the video is gonna be wack. I believe that we can blow this up.

Too bad I can’t afford that… this other guy I can do a less budgeted video for 1/8th the price.

Maybe if I got a job, sold some items and budgeted well I can afford it

I wouldn’t trust the editing skills of someone who can’t even be bothered to spellcheck.
Just saying…

Well I saw all their sample videos on their very professional website and looks legit to me.

You would love it far cry… Lots of girls in the video. It has to be that way because the song is about girls and drugs ha ha

I doubt a video is worth more than 1000$

“The total cost to produce a professional music video can range from $20,000 to $500,000 and up. There are a handful of music videos each year in the seven-figure budget range, but those are exceptions in the overall market.Aug 23, 2013

Hey gratitude I rap and I think the smartest way to do it at the moment is to “practice, practice, practice!” Maybe shoot your own video first an edit it in a free video editor like light works or iMovie. The best cheap one ($100 and I think it’s the best to skip the free ones [not as good]) is Pinnacle (has great YouTube tutorials). The next step for me would be Adobe premier.

Maybe just get used to being on camera and developing a stage presence before investing heavily in a music video. It will get you ready for that! Good luck my friend!

yes but they will probably produce just an amateurish video.
