I see no point in vaping without nicotine. You’re just inhaling flavoured water.

i like it, i think, its like smoking only healthier and non addictive

Y’all know that people who are vaping are dying. Google death linked to vaping

In the UK, health experts say they are not aware of any similar incidents with UK-regulated products.

So you’re just starting vaping to vape?

That’s a super bad idea.

People are dying because of vaping, some worker at a vape shop isn’t going to know or tell you all the details.

That being said, I vape, but I used it as a way to get off cigarettes, now I’m reducing how much I vape so that I can quit that too.

I suggest you quit vaping all together, its unhealthy,

Regardless of what they told you at the vape shop.

Sounds like you got lied to, twice. Anything can be addictive, flavors and hand to mouth action. No one knows the long term effects of vaping. Vaping related illness is a major concern right now, people are dying.

Don’t trust a pretty face trying to sell you something

if you read the article then you will see that it was illicit liquid that people were mixing with spice, hash and god knows what else, totally there own faults, home made ■■■■

its just a bit of fun guys

Nope.

It was people just using plain old vaping liquid.

Any inhalant is bad for you,

I have no idea what would possess you to start.

It’s the chemicals involved in flavoring vape juice that make it dangerous for your health. If you’ve been going strong without cigs, you should continue. You’re just picking up a dangerous bad habit for no reason.

its made from fruits

A full investigation is not yet available but we’ve heard reports that most of these cases were linked to people using illicit vaping fluid bought on the streets or homemade, some containing cannabis products, like THC, or synthetic cannabinoids, like Spice

This means nobody knows what is causing the problems, because an investigation has not been fully done yet. That is only one person’s theory about why. That is bad journalism, and very misleading.

Even if they were just fruits,

And its not,

They aren’t meant to go in your lungs.

I feel like we shouldn’t have to explain this to you.

If you do it occasionally I don’t see the harm.

They’re not fruits. Vape liquid is made from flavored chemicals. You’re not inhaling fruit juice. And even if you were, it would still be BAD for you.

thats good to know, i wont be mixing my flavours anyway so that ok i guess

It’s not about mixing your flavors. It’s about the companies adding different chemicals to the vape juice, which then react with each other to form new chemicals, particularly when heated. Though they individual ingredients are regulated, the byproducts formed within the vape juice are not.

I stopped vaping cos i was feeling “popping” in my lungs when i inhaled. Mind you i ended up back on the roll-ups - but vaping actually made me cough worse.

Im in two minds whether its bad or not - cos there doesnt seem to be much mention of the risks here in uk. And in all honesty im not too informed on the subject.

I think i will go on the traditional method of patches and gum if and when i quit nicotine.

They mixed propylene glycol, vegetable glycerine, and a handful of different flavors, including cherry, cinnamon, and vanilla. And they watched the concentration of these new compounds rise. When they analyzed the vapor their e-liquids produced, they found that roughly 50 to 80 percent of the new chemicals showed up in the vapor, too

Do you get it now?
