Trigger warning, cyber security, we need to prepare

With all the advancements in AI cyber criminals are going to become incredibly competent. I think in the next few years “scammers” are going to become extremely good at what they do. Calling on the techies of this site. What are some things we can do to protect are devices?

Don’t use public wifi.

Don’t click on links in sms messages or emails.

Do you use a vpn?

No I don’t use a VPN

If they want to do it, they have to just know you. Whome to check on they can check.

I am scared of dark AI psychology warfare they are in my serious concern.

They can wage war on each other just by feeding related news to a sect of people at right time.

Here we had instance we used to completely disabled Internet services. Most of it started due to fake news.

Dont answer phonecalls. Only call back on verified numbers through an official company website. Dont respond to emails.

Have a family password.
If someone send you a text like “hey its your brother i lost my phone this is my new number” or whatever. Ask them “what time is it?” Then you would have some non sensical password like , apples and 3 dogs. Something irrelevant to the question.

Those things will protect you mostly.

Its mostly social engineering schemes
