I don’t see how. My answer is no.
Connecting coincidences and seeing patterns that arent there is a hallmark of psychotic disorders. Nothing magical about it. Delusions of reference I believe its called.

can you get in to see your pdoc? you should be telling him/her these things…you are delusional and could get full blown fast if you don’t get help…are you taking your meds?

That’s exactly what I went through a few days before I went 100% psychotic and was forcibly hospitalised.
Make sure you tell the doctor you’re afraid you’re having a relapse tomorrow. Tell him everything you’ve told us.

I completely made a fool of myself in the shared accommodation today where I live 
I don’t know if they’ll ever see me the same way again.
Don’t worry about your flatmates, worry about yourself. Try to get some sleep.
If you can’t sleep, then consider A&E.

I ask because this is something I experienced during my psychotic break today.
Also in my first and possibly second episode, I also experienced coincidences.
I think it is maybe to do with hallucinating things that my mind is thinking of? Honestly I have no clue.
Or because maybe our dopamine is high during psychosis apparently and I think dopamine plays a role in attentiveness
So perhaps that makes us look out for coincidences like crazy so more likely to find some.
I really don’t know.
