Probably due to amazon.

Yeah, Amazon is putting a lot of stores away.
I remember Toys R Us as a kid.
What a shame!

I was surprised to learn that the computer store NCIX went bankrupt recently too.

It’s a bad time for brick and mortar shops.

I really loved toys r us as a child. Always got excited when we went there. It was like going to Legoland but without the rides. Good times

Reminds me of my old joke…

I’m so OCD, every time I drive by Toys R Us, I wanna grab a ladder…climb up…and straighten that damn ‘R’!!

What a bummer!

That was the place to go to for videogames and toys growing up.

My bf works at a different store that sells Toys R Us licensed stuff, and they’re having to scrap all of it and not sell anything.

What a sad time. My son used to love getting his video games there. And they were not cheap either. But, I would gladly buy them for him. He got everything he wanted from me. No matter what it was. I loved spoiling him. He was the only child of a single mother, so, go figure.

End of an era getting closer and closer.:worried:

The worst part about bankruptcy are the news articles slyly poking fun at the business. I saw one that said ‘nearly game over for Toys R Us.’
