I really love his style of country music.
The man just had a beautiful voice. And he could play guitar like no tomorrow.
There’s just something about this 70’s style of country and folk music that really appeals to me.

yeah, I’m a big fan of townes…i think he was mentally ill…he sang about a mental ward once…forget the song.

Yeah I saw a really good documentary about him, a long time ago though.
I think in the documentary they talked about his struggles with alcohol and other substances.

I believe the song is “sanitarium blues”…depressing song…I like his tunes so much.
