Im pretty sure I’m in the line to see almost a full or full eclipse. I saw something about this a couple months ago.

The 2024 Solar Eclipse - Don't Miss It!
I’m right on the edge of the black in Arkansas. The Arkansas river borders my town. This is gonna be dope.

I imagine that could be cool to experience. Be careful not to look at the sun though. They say one could go blind even just looking at the edges of the sun

Isn’t a eclipse hard on the eyes idk I think it is if it’s safe you should take pics and show us it

I think there might be certain sunglasses or such that can be used to look safely, but I haven’t really looked into it.

Keratoconus causes light sensitivity but I get your point be careful tho even if your eyes are normal you don’t wanna become blind or legally blind I was legally blind before my cornea transplant I can assure you it’s not fun

We had a full solar eclipse around 7 years ago when I lived in Oregon.

It was soo weird.

We all had special sunglasses to watch it (cause every store around was selling them)

I’d tell you more but I don’t want to ruin the eclipse for anyone.

@anon61987434 oh please do tell…I am not going to be able to see the full eclipse, my wife doesn’t want to make the drive…so please share the experience…what was it like when the sun was enclosed by the moon and the edges were bright? that must have been something.

I saw a total eclipse from Portreath U.K in 1999. Make the most of it because it doesn’t occur very often.

@jukebox

It was kind of spooky lol at least to me and my sister, it got dark fast, not like it was nighttime or anything but it got darker out… our chickens all started laying down in their yard outside like it was bed time lol

I don’t remember how long it lasted, the total eclipse, seemed like it went by quick.

I’ll try and remember to get a picture. I had those special glasses the time we had a partial. they were giving them away somewhere.

I traveled all the way to Bolivia in 1994 just to see a total solar eclipse. The eclipse was on November 3, 1994. I even got the t-shirt.
