Also, I posted on a Facebook article saying “I’m excited for the eclipse” and a lot of people laughed at me. Not too sure what was funny about it.

And I won’t be taking photos, it’s bad for my cameras sensor

Yes it’s different time,
Mom got me and my brother glasses to see it tomorrow. Last time I seen something like this it was my my dad his wife and my stepsister/brother. It was at night though.

We would have to drive like 5 hours each way to see it, so like 10 hours, so probably not.

I’m scared of it and what it could do to the eyes not looking the least bit forward to it I wanna and most likely gonna take a nap while it’s happening

Smart move. I have no desire to damage my retinas or a camera sensor and will let NASA take pics on my behalf. I’ll look at them later.
