So yesterday I found an electrical fault in my car where the brake lights stay on after key removed from ignition. Pretty simple fix but I’ll take it to our local as they can do it quickly. Anyways Luckily my little brother has left his car here for a week whilst he goes on holiday to New Zealand. Only down side is a stick shift with a really low first gear!
Anyways. Played cricket today and we batted all day for 220 odd. I top scored with 73 which really is a good effort. I’m absolutely knackered and sore in places I didn’t know were muscles. So here’s me all stiff and sorry driving a manual home through all these hills. It was alright on the highway but gawd. That city traffic reminds me why I drive an Auto!

Yeah matey. Bowled spin early from one end. I like fast bowling. Did alright today but have some bruises from missing the ball. Gotta love cricket! These lads were like 100k’s tops so now damage done. I’ve been hit in the head by way faster haha.
Doing a job and hope to bowl some overs next weekend. It’s a two day game. 70 overs this weekend and 70 next. Looking forward to it and will be working out harder this week! Might even try to go to training this Thursday!
Cricket is such a good game. On the one hand it very much is a technical sport like golf. It’s different than baseball in that you can hit 360 degrees around the field. Saying that you have 11 players on the field. One bowler. One wicket keeper and NIne fielders.
So there’s individual scores that add to the team goal. Have a look at some matches if you can. It is such a cool sport. You can still be a total fat ass, lazy person but if you’ve the technique you can do well.
